Erika Plosa

Overcoming personal and professional challenges in life is nothing new for Erika Plosa. Whether it’s piloting a commercial airline, completing a rugged Ironman Triathlon or simply filling out a complicated Real Estate contract, Erika exemplifies what it takes to be successful through hard work and the desire to continue learning along the way.

Her dedication, commitment, and attention to detail and the expertise to clearly interpret timely and relevant information truly defines both her outstanding work ethic and the ability to effectively communicate what is necessary to finish the job.   

Erika’s time spent in the Military and later as an accomplished commercial pilot for American Airlines reflects her devotion to procedure and acquiring the expertise needed when making the correct decision at the right time becomes the number one priority.

This New Jersey native graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Human Behavior and Leadership in 1990 prior to earning a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Sciences from Embry-Riddle in 1997.

Erika served 24 years on Active duty and in the Washington Air National Guard before her retirement in 2013. Her assignments included air refueling during deployments in support of operations in Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Libya.

She would remain in the air as an American Airlines pilot based in Washington State until relocating to South Florida. 

This cross-country move and current economic conditions enabled Erika to consider a second career and facing another new challenge as a licensed Real Estate agent. 

Buying and selling her own properties has provided Erika with an understanding of the Real Estate marketplace, a thorough knowledge of current property values, and the appropriate financing programs available to consumers today.  

Joining the Signature family has allowed Erika to take full advantage of the company’s many resources while growing her referral network, especially among active and retired military and aviation personnel who hopefully will consider South Florida their future home.  

Above all Erika Plosa believes that integrity and honesty, as evident in her prior professional working relationships and when communicating directly with her loyal clientele, is the key to a successful and happy outcome for all parties involved. 

When not at the office, Erika enjoys scuba diving, competing in Triathlons and keeping company with Oscar, Lucy, and Lily, her three beloved rescue cats.
